PRESIDENT OF TRAVEL BASKETBALL OPERATIONS

Richard P. is a graduate of Father Lopez Catholic High School and has been playing basketball since he was 5 years old. He has experience playing for F.B.V.A., Y.B.O.A., A.A.U., EYBL, and C.F.B.A. Richard began his coaching career in 2012 as an Assistant Coach for Middle School teams at Trinity and Galaxy. While pursuing his degree in Business Administration, Richard envisioned the idea of a Youth Basketball Academy. He developed his trademark training and development program around a coaching strategy that led Calvary Christian Academy’s Varsity team to back-to-back state championship games while setting postseason school records.
To further test his philosophy, Richard moved his headquarters to Miami, Florida. Coaching at Gulliver Prep, he ended the season undefeated, establishing a perfect record for the Raiders. As a youth basketball academy coach, Richard managed three different teams, and within three months, his program became an elite training program. Proving the success of his approach, he walked away with three championships, winning in every division he coached. Seeking to expand his vision, he returned to his hometown and founded GENERATION HOOPS in 2024.
To further test his philosophy, Richard moved his headquarters to Miami, Florida. Coaching at Gulliver Prep, he ended the season undefeated, establishing a perfect record for the Raiders. C.E.O. Beatriz P.
Beatriz P. has been coaching basketball for over 15 years. She has coached in the A.A.U., U.S.S.S.A., and Y.B.O.A. Travel Ball Circuit. Coach Bea led the girls’ basketball programs in middle school, JV, and high school at Trinity Christian Academy and Calvary Christian Academy, winning six district titles in a row, two regional championships, and reaching the State Championship game in 2017 and 2018. Upon retiring from coaching, Beatriz established Rockline Basketball Academy in 2018.
Director of Operations, Yasmin V.
Yasmin V. has an impressive personal background. Her high school journey at Calvary Christian in Ormond Beach, Florida, was nothing short of remarkable. Starting on the varsity team since middle school, she garnered numerous accolades throughout her decorated career.
Notably, Yasmin earned the prestigious 2A FBCA Player of the Year honors, leaving an indelible mark on the court with over 2,000 points, 1,300 steals, and an impressive double-double average in her last two seasons. Her talent extended beyond scoring and defense, as she also contributed with 600 assists. Yasmin topped the state in steals twice and received recognition as a McDonald’s All-American nominee and Esmark All-American. Additionally, she was a valuable member of the All-Area First Team and earned team MVP honors five times.
Yasmin’s leadership and skills propelled her teams to success, helping secure two state runners-up finishes, five district championships, and two regional titles. Her AAU/EYBL team also claimed three state championships, showcasing her dedication to excellence.
Not only an outstanding athlete, but Yasmin also shone academically. Graduating as the valedictorian with a remarkable 4.64 GPA, she was recognized for her exceptional academic achievements. Her commitment to education was further evidenced by her role as the president of the National Honor Society and her receipt of an award for academic excellence.
In 2023, Yasmin further expanded her horizons by completing her MBA and joining HSRecruiting as an academic and athletic advisor. She embarked on her collegiate basketball journey on a full athletic scholarship to Nicholls State before transferring to Georgia Southwestern University, where she displayed her skills for three years.
Yasmin exemplifies the embodiment of an all-around athlete and scholar, making a lasting impact both on and off the court.

Director of Public Relations, Joel V.
Coach Joel brings more than 11 years of basketball experience to Rockline Sports Academy. His playing career began in Connecticut, where he was a four-year varsity player at Torrington High School and served as team captain during his junior and senior seasons.
Following high school, Coach Joel was recruited to play collegiate basketball at Daytona State College. After earning his degree, he transferred to Southeastern University to continue his academic and athletic career, where he completed his bachelor's degree while continuing to compete at the collegiate level.
After graduating, Coach Joel achieved his dream of playing professionally by signing to play basketball in Puerto Rico. His dedication, leadership, and passion for the game have made him a valuable mentor for young athletes.
Coach Joel has a bright future in the sport of basketball and is committed to using his experience and knowledge to help develop the next generation of players. At Rockline Sports Academy, he takes pride in teaching the fundamentals of the game, building confidence, and helping every athlete reach their full potential both on and off the court.

Event Director, Emily P.
Coach Emily Perez brings more than 20 years of basketball experience to Rockline Sports Academy as a coach, mentor, and educator. Her passion for developing young athletes has made her an invaluable part of our program and a respected figure in the local basketball community.
As the starting point guard for her high school team, Coach Emily led her team to a District Championship during her senior season and earned opportunities to play at the collegiate level. She ultimately chose to pursue a career in Early Childhood Development, a decision that has greatly enhanced her ability to connect with, teach, and inspire young athletes.
Over the years, Coach Emily has coached at the middle school, high school, and elite travel basketball levels. Her extensive coaching experience includes programs such as Heritage Middle School, Trinity Christian Academy, YBOA, AAU, and various youth recreational sports organizations.

Coach Carl is a proud graduate of both Deltona High School and University of Central Florida, where he developed his passion for the game of basketball and his commitment to helping others succeed.
Over the years, Coach Carl has dedicated himself to serving youth in our community as a basketball skills trainer, mentoring and developing players of all ages and skill levels. Following his collegiate career, he pursued professional basketball opportunities, playing in Mexico and throughout several Central American professional basketball organizations.
In addition to his playing experience, Coach Carl brings a wealth of coaching knowledge from working with high school athletes both domestically and internationally. His passion extends far beyond the game itself, as he is committed to helping young athletes grow in confidence, character, discipline, and leadership.

Coach Felix is a dedicated educator, mentor, and behavioral intervention specialist who is passionate about helping young athletes grow both on and off the court. Originally from Illinois, Coach Felix began his coaching journey in Minnesota, where he developed a reputation for pushing athletes to improve their skills, embrace coaching, and most importantly, enjoy the game.
A proud father of three boys, Coach Felix considers being a father his greatest accomplishment. His commitment to developing young people extends far beyond sports and is reflected in both his professional and personal life.
Coach Felix earned his Bachelor's Degree in Applied Behavioral Sciences from Ashford University, providing the academic foundation for more than a decade of experience as a behavioral intervention specialist. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to supporting the mental, emotional, and behavioral well-being of students while helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

In addition to his coaching experience, Coach Tevin is a proud United States Navy veteran. During his time in the service, he continued to play and train in basketball, further strengthening his discipline, leadership, and commitment to teamwork—qualities that he now brings to every practice and training session.
